I worked on this capture the flag style map, Assassin’s Roost, on and off, for two years. From the first, I had the idea of two fortress structures facing each other across, inside a cave. A good share of that work was removing areas that made parts of the map too complex, and working and reworking the underwater cave tunnel until it was lo-poly and bug free. The map has a special trick. A player deep in the fortress can view the central area through a remote screen. She can press a button to drop the bridge in the center or fire rockets at the opposing sniper porch.
